The Architecture Drawing Prize

The Architecture Drawing Prize
Sponsored by William Hare Group

The Architecture Drawing Prize is an international competition that celebrates the art and skill of architectural drawing. Now in its third year, the prize is curated by Make Architects, Sir John Soane’s Museum and the World Architecture Festival.

In the spirit of many great architects of the past, from Palladio and John Soane to Le Corbusier and Cedric Price, it’s an ideal platform for reflecting on and exploring how drawing continues to advance the art of architecture today.

Entries are welcomed from architects, designers and students from around the world, in the following categories: hand-drawn, digital, and hybrid.

This year sees the introduction of a new category: the detail drawing. The category supports entries by architects with a passion for working details.

The winners and shortlist will be on display at a dedicated exhibition at Sir John Soane's Museum in London.

The category winners will each receive a delegate pass and two nights in a hotel for the World Architecture Festival in Amsterdam. They will be invited to participate in an event on the Festival Stage at the conference, and receive tickets to the Gala Dinner.

Entries for The Drawing Prize 2019 will open in June.
